slacker

I haven't posted for a few months...I can see Amy M. shaking her finger at me right now! :-)
I started working on a couple pettiskirts for a friend's twin girls and they are taking forever. I hope to finish them this weekend and will post pictures. Am also working on a dress and bloomer for Baby Sara's older cousin. Had Colbin and Brody over the weekend so that was a lot of fun. Took some pics and hoped to post but was too tired yesterday - I don't know how their mom does it! She is super mom.

way to go Boone County 4-H!!

I love to see young girls enjoying something healthy and productive - craftiness breeds creativity and imagination...these girls are providing sleepers to the tiny babies at Columbia Regional Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Kudos to Boone County 4-H!!!

weekend projects

This past weekend I was pretty lazy but enjoyed working on a couple projects (I was at least thinking about doing laundry). I'm about 5 feet into Joe's Dr. Who scarf, the goal is 9 feet.

This is Baby Sara's sundress and matching diaper cover.

baby girl shrug

this pink and white shrug was commissioned by a woman for her six month old granddaughter. I bet it will look much cuter on her than on the wall.

baby deacon's new hat

this weekend I finished a mizzou hat for my friend Kristen. the camera commotion woke bianca from her nap...I think she would have attacked the hat if it wouldn't have required her actually moving.

do these come in pink?

Tom had to seize the moment I guess and took this pic of me right before I left to feed a dog left behind by its owner. It was about 6 degrees outside so for the first time I put on his overalls...am I the first to pair these with Uggs? I have to tell you, these things are warm.

bibs and burps

baby sara's first bib and burp cloth set...more to come
over the next couple weeks.

hard at work

bianca decided she wanted to help me put together baby sara's
bibs...she is such a hard worker.
