A woman commissioned me at King's Daughters to make this set for her niece for a Christmas present. I am a big fan of the pink and brown combo...brown and light blue too...

Nikki and Tim got married yesterday at the Tiger Hotel in downtown Columbia. It was a beautiful event, Nikki and Tim were beaming the entire time and believe it or not, Tom and I actually got our picture taken. Nikki had no clue we were getting together to "shower" her at Murry's this past Saturday. She was honestly surprised thanks to Kim and her mom. The wedding is less than one week away!

baby shrug

Here is one of my baby shrugs (sized for 0 to 6 months); used Lamb's Pride cotton fleece for the body and a speciality hand dyed yarn for the trim. I just listed it on my etsy site so it should be up later today.

available hats

I've been asked to post images of hats I have on hand...the hats below are 6 to 12 months. I am out of "girlie" hats (those went pretty fast on Saturday) but will post them as I put them together. If you see any from the King's Daughters pictures you are interested in, those too can be custom ordered in time for Christmas.

The show was both Saturday and Sunday and we were very busy. I plan to do the event next year and of course am already thinking of ways to improve my booth. Lucky for Tom it falls on the first weekend of rifle season. :-)

back in the saddle

A week out from surgery and feeling pretty good. During my week off I was married to the couch so I did quite a bit of knitting. Am blocking a baby cardigan tonight so I hope to post a picture tomorrow or Wednesday. Tom has been building a workbench in the garage and it looks awesome! All he needs to do now is build and attach the cabinet doors. Workbench = more finished projects for cristin. :-)
